Today, i performed my song in front, i did well except on the breathing but i hope i'll get good score. mr. herry also asked the photocopy of our reflection, i decided to submit it at lunch. we also took some pictures per instrument group and together.

Today, i only watched some of my friends' performance. almost all of them are well prepared especially the piano students because they play their own composition very well and they even memorize their own song! i'm glad that most of them did well but i hope i can also do well tomorrow. we don't have instrument class today. at home, i will practice my composition and update my blog.

Michelle=be more confident and please play the song fluently

Johan=needs more practice and should know the notes that he's playing

Gifi=need to practice on the blowing the flute

Jesslyn=nice melody but still need more practice on the breathing

Melicia=still need more practice and the beat of the note is not like what it's suppose to be

Karina=still need more practice and i think the song is too hard/complicated for her

Benny=still need more practice

Ynigo=he plays the A too fast and i can hear the melody clearly

Ivan=need to practice on the reading

Davin=need to play the song fluently

Today, i rehearse in front of the class but i only played A, B, and C because it will take a long time to play the whole song. i also watched some of my friends' performance, i think most of them still need more practice. we don't have instrument class today. while they were rehearsing, i suddenly remember about the problem with my video, i can't upload it on my blog i don't know why. at home, i will practice my composition and  try to upload the video at my blog.

Today, Mr. herry told us to make the lyrics for our composition and email it to him. so i decided to submit the hardcopy and the softcopy tormorrow. he also asked some students to rehearse their composition in front of the class and the rest, will rehearse next week. at home, i will make the lyrics of my composition and practice my composition.

Today, Mr. Herry showed my class an orchestra performance from youtube. he also reminded us to submit the final composition of ours including  the softcopy and i think i'll send to him tonight or this afternoon. However, when Mr. Herry showed us the video, i was kind of embarrassed because it was shown a little girl perform together with teenagers very well so i am challanged to play flute like her. Then mr. herry asked ivan, johan, davin, and ynigo to redo the singing of You've got a friend assessment. while they're practicing, the others were told to rehearse in front. most of their composition are good and they are well prepared. at home, i will update my blog, upload videos, and practice my composition.

Today, i only watched my friends' composition, most of their compositions are good but i think they still have to fix it a little bit. I think the best composition is Olivia because the melody is very good. While watching their compositions, i write feedback for their compositions then later i will put it in my blog. At home, i will practice my final composition and i will update my blog.

Today, i only watched the finale composition of my class but we only get up to like 10 students so we will listen to the rest of the composition tomorrow. I think most of their songs are kind of boring but they still have time to fix it though. At home, i will practice my composition i'm still new in playing flute.

Today, Mr. Herry showed us our performance yesterday from the computer. When i saw my group performance there, i feel really happy because we did well and i hope we can get food score. Then Mr. Herry asked each representative of the instrument group to perform their own composition. i think they practice also at home because they can play the song well. I hope they will do well also in the day of the assessment. At home, i will practice my own composition.

Today is the notation quiz day. I dont really memorize each major scale and the other so i won't get perfect score. but i hope i can pass the quiz. After that, Mr. Herry asked the Finale hardcopy to my class, most of them will submit it by email and so will i. Then he played You've got a friend song and asked us to practice. At home, i will practice my composition and You've got a friend.

Today, i only watch my friends performance. Well, majority of them did well and i think they'll get good score. but i don't think i did well because i can't reach the highest note in the song, i'm still shy, and nervous of course. Today, Mr.Herry welcomed us with an indonesian song which is called Indonesia Pusaka, he play it so many times. Then he show us a music video of Indonesia Pusaka from youtube. After that, he asked us to sing that song together and he thinks that we're still shy so he called Mr. Hary to give us some advice. After that, Mr. Herry show us a video of "You've got a friend" then he distribute the lyric and chords of that song. At home, i will prepare for the assessment next week.

Today, Mr. Herry decided to continue the games from last week which is called TikiKa. My groupmates and I did not do very well because we were using "Gendang" so we laugh everytime we hear the sound of the Gendang. Mr. Herry also told us abot the assessment for next week, we will be having a singing performance about western and indonesian song and notation test. After that, we submit our draft to Mr. Herry. At home, i will practice my song and prepare for the assessment next week.

Today, Mr. Herry showed my class how to use Finale and showed some of my friends' composition He suggested us to start making the composition and download the software of Finale or buy at the nearest place. After that, he collect our homework about the labeling the instrument and notation. After that, he asked us to perform in front about the notation by clapping and mentioning the name of the note. Only group 1-4 had the chance to perform today, for the rest, they will perform next week. Then he distributed out homework for next week about music signs. At home, i will do the homework given and do my composition.

Today, Mr. Herry gave my class a game about notation, it's requiring us to clap and mention the name of the note. Each instrument groups were told to go in front and do number 1-3 and the result, violin group won. After that, he distributed the 40 bars composition draft for us and it's due next week. Then, he gave my class a homework and it's due tomorrow. At home, i will do the homework given.

Today, Mr. Herry asked my class to fill in the feedback form which is about the feedback from us for him. After that, he collected the photocopy of our daily reflection that we write every music session. But i decided to submit the photocopy at lunch because i need my journal for the next subject. Then we checked our friends' paper about the notation together, i checked Janice's. After that, i watched my friend's performance (make up assessment). Then Mr. Herry explain about music composition and the patterns of each song genre; which are AA'BA' for pop music and ABACA for random music. He gave us homework about the music composition and it's due next term.

Today, Mr. Herry discuss about the major scale and tonic triad. He asked the boys to complete the 1st and 2nd inversion and also asked the piano students to play the 1st and 2nd inversion with the piano. Then he distributed the music developmental workbook, it's due on friday. At home, i will finish the workbook and maybe upload a new video about the things i need to practice form the instrument class.

Today, Mr. herry told us out singing performance score. I get 9 out of 10 and i feel so happy because i pass the score. After that, he distributed our quiz and told us to finish it in only 15 minutes. The quiz is about major scale and triot. Too bad i didn't finish it but he said that it's okay because he's only going to check or improvement from the very first time until now.

Today is the solo classical performance and i think i'm ready because i practice a lot at home. I'm also entertained just by watching my friends perform and i think some of them did well but some of them didn't take it seriously. Mr. herry told us to make the "background of my song" and "my preparation" part of the booklet. I got a turn to perform just now and i think i didn't do it very well because i didn't blow the flute correctly.

Today, I learned about the major 7th, minor 7th, diminished 7th, recapping, and triad. I'm also entertained by my friend who rehearsed today but i think they still need more practice and so do i. By the way, i already know the song that i will play for the classical performance which is Amazing Grace. At home, i will record while i'm practicing and do the homework given by Mr. Herry today.

We had our solo performance rehearsal today. Each instrument group got a turn today to rehearse in front. I performed with my friends (Jesslyn and Michelle) and i think we did well but for the boys, i don't think they take it seriously cause they didn't bring the instrument. Too bad that Mr. Hary is absent today because i'm planning to discuss the song that i will play for the assessment. At home, i will look for the song, practice it, and remember the chords. The substitute teacher is Mr. Ahmad, religion teacher.

Today, Mr. Herry show my class a video of people playing violin, flute, piano, and guitar from youtube. He also check the homework that was given to us yesterday and he explained about making the triot and the key signature. Since our classical performance is due next two weeks, Mr. Herry ask each instrument group to present the music they will perform later on.

Today, we learn about the major scale and C and G chord. Some of my friends were asked to go in front and complete the chords and scales. Mr. Herry gave us homework about the D, A, E, and F major scale and it's due tomorrow. He also played each major scale and the chords with the keyboard and asked us what is the key he was playing. We'll be having some more time at the instrument class because the solo classical performance is coming.

Today, my class had the group slides presentation and my group did well because we give complete information and we prepared our own palmcard. For me, group 3 is the best because they can limit the time and their content or information is easy to understand and complete. I will prepare for the next assessment at home. We don't have instrument class today.

We had our singing performance today. I got turn to sing in front of the class and i think i did well but still, i need to improve my body structure when i sing in front and my nervousness. I felt very nervous when i sang in front of people but i imagine that no one was in front of me. I will do my slide presentation with my group and we don't have instrument class today.

Today, i wrote a reflection about the essay task. I wrote whether it's difficult or not and what i learned from it. Mr. Herry gave me the singing performance booklet and i need to complete the booklet. I worked on the preparations, the background information, and what i need to do. After that, each student performed their song in front of the class alphabetically. Later on, i will practice my song because I didn't get turn today.

Today is the due date of the essay but we can submit the essay on Friday so i decided to submit it on Friday instead. Mr. Herry told some of my friends who had not practice in front to practice and he had seen each students singing. I will practice my song and improve my body posture when i'm in front of the class.

Today, Mr. Herry told my class about the due date of our essay task, the materials for slides presentation, and the due date for the singing performance. I also rehearse my song in front of the class with the music played by Mr. Herry. He also gave out the handout about the great composers, essay task, and classical music periods. I will look for the karaoke mode of Mad and practice it at home so that i won't be so nervous.

Today, Mr. Herry discussed about Western Classical Music and its type which are Medieval, Reinaissaine, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th century. i rehearse the song that i've chosen for the assessment which is from Ne-Yo called Mad in front of the class. i will practice the song and search for the lyrics especially the karaoke version of the song because i can't sing it with the voice of Ne-Yo.

Today, Mr. Herry remind my class about the assessment schedule and gave my class the printed power point about Western Classical Music. He also listed our email that is active until now so that we could communicate with Mr. Herry through email. Besides that, he also listed what are the website of our blogger because later on, we will be posting these reflection to the blog.

Today, Mr. Herry taught my class about The Major Scale which are major scale C, G, D, A, E, B but major scale D, A, E, B is for homework. Later, i'm going to search about classical&pop music because next week, Mr. Herry will give us quiz. Mr. Herry also gave an information about the assessments schedules. i will do my homework given by him and research for the quiz next week.

Today, my class were divided into 4 sections which are Piano with Mr. Herry, Violin with Mr. Sadrakh, Guitar with Mr. John, and Flute with Mr. Hary. I'm in flute group and i'm happy because i had the chance to play flute again after i stop when i was at grade 6. The teachers also played a song with the instruments and Mr. Herry told  us to research about Classical&Pop music. I need to research because in this semester, i'll be studying about it. I think i'm going to talk about the flute with Mr. Hary because i don't have flute.
